National Talent Search Examination, (NTSE) Meghalaya 2021, Online Application

NTSE Meghalaya 2021 Details

. Exam Name: (NTSE) National Talent Search Examination  State Level Screening Test (Stage-I)

. Stage-I Exam Date: January 15th 2022 (Saturday)

. Stage-II Exam Date: June 12th 2022 (Sunday)

. No of scholarship for Meghalaya: 50

. Academic year: 2021-2022

. Age limit:  Enrolled students in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) who are under the age of 18 are also qualified for scholarships (as of 1st July of that particular year)
The pupils are unemployed and are enrolling for the first time in class X.

* Education Qualification: Students currently attending in Class X at any approved Meghalaya school are ready to access the above-mentioned examination.
Scholarships will be available to students enrolled in Open Distance Learning (ODL).

How to Register for Meghalaya's NTSE in 2021

- Candidates must submit an application form that is completely filled out in all aspects, as well as the accompanying documents.

1. Two passport sizes (School uniforms)

2. Class IX Progress Report

3. Certificates ST/SC/OBC.

4. Certificate of Income from the Appropriate Government.

5. Certificate of Disability Status from an Appropriate Government

* The Registration Form must be submitted to the appropriate DSEO, and the deadline is November 5, 2021.
Registration forms and instructions are also available on the DERT website, www.megeducation.gov.in, or by contacting the individual District's Office of the DSEO.

Duly filled application forms will be automatically dismissed if they do not include supporting papers.

Selection Procedure NTSE Meghalaya 2021

- Students who complete the Stage-I Examination will be permitted to take the Stage-II Examination on June 12th, 2022, which will be organized by NCERT (Sunday). At the state level, the Stage-I examination will include two papers, namely:

. Mental Ability Test (MAT): 100 Marks

. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) comprising of Science, Social Science & Mathematics: 100 Marks

Qualifying Marks

ST/SC/PH in each paper: 32%

In each paper, the percentage of general category/OBC and EWS is 40%.

 Negative marking is not accepted.

Only students who pass both of the examinations will be eligible for merit.

On the based on merit, the student will be chosen based on their overall MAT and SAT scores.
