Sailor Recruitment in the Indian Navy for 2021: The Indian Navy is sending online applications from qualified unmarried male candidates for 300 Sailor for Matric Recruit (MR) – April 2022 batch recruitment notification. The deadline for submitting an application is November 2, 2021.

* Numbers of posts:- 300 (three thousand ) (Approximately)

* Detailed job description:

(a) They would be designed to complete food according to a menu (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, including the managing of meat products) and to account for ration packs. They will also be assigned other duties based on the needs of the Service.

(b) Steward: They would be allowed to serve food in the officers' mess as waiters, to do housekeeping, to account for funds, wine, and stores, to prepare the menu, and so on. They will also be assigned other duties based on Service necessities.

(c) Hygienist: They'll be responsible for cleaning the restroom, showers, and other areas. They will also be assigned other responsibilities based on Service regulations.

* Uper Age limit:- Candidates must have been born between April 1, 2002 and September 30, 2005 to be considered (Both dates inclusive).

* Payemt Method: A monthly stipend of Rs. 14,600/- will be appealable during the initial training period. They will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix after successfully completing initial training (Rs. 21,700- 69,100).
Moreover, they will be paid MSP at the rate of Rs. 5200/- for each month plus DA (as applicable).

* Qualification in Education:

Candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination from one of the Boards of School Education recognised by the Ministry of Education of the Government of India.

What is the process for applying for Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment 2021 @Matric Recruit (MR) Vacancy?

Candidates who are interested and qualified can apply online at the Indian Navy Recruitment website - https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from October 29th to November 2nd, 2021

Selection Process:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a public-interest exception has been made, and approximately 1500 people will be called for a written exam and PFT. The percentage of qualifying examination candidates will be used to shortlist candidates for written examination and PFT (10th examination). Even though vacancies are distributed by state, the cut-off marks may differ from one state to another.

Written Test

- The question paper will be objective type and bilingual (Hindi and English).

- Science & Mathematics and General Knowledge will be the two sections of the question paper.

- The question paper will be of 10th grade level, and the syllabus for the examination may be found at www.joinindiannavy.govin.

- The examination will take 30 minutes to complete.

- On the same day as the written examination, all applicants will be submitted to a PFT.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

- For selection, you must pass the Physical Fitness Test (PFT).

- The PFT will consist of a 1.6-kilometer run in 7 minutes, 20 squats (Uthak Baithak), and 10 push-ups. Candidates who want to take the PFT do so at their own risk.

- Subject to the qualifying Physical Fitness Test, merit lists for MR will be generated based on performance in the written test (PFT).

- On the basis of state-wise merit, about 400 candidates will be invited to the INS Chilka for the Enrolment Medical Examination.
